Girl… I feel you on that!!! Even though it’s hard it’s good for us to keep positive and measure yourselves… At least that’s showing progress.

Insecurities can be a pain in the butt… However, I feel like by me working out helps that a lot and it seems that way for you too. Not only you feel good about yourself and health but you will look fit!!! So keep positive girl… You are doing so great. Reading your progress makes me so happy and inspires me to work hard too!!!

I’m so proud of you for being so tough and making decisions for yourself. I can honestly say I completely understand about being brought up in a negative environment. I was stuck with many pretty skinny girls who always called me fat and pimple face. It didn’t help when I was feeling down and eating those fried chicken because I was mad…. Now, I know better and I’m finally slowly but surely being positive about myself, body and the person I am. Insecurities come and go… Instead of people calling me Fat…. They call me a health freak… LoL... either way people will say things but at the end girl… you make those decisions and how it will affect you... But it seems like you are doing very well and for your age and I am SOOOOOOO freaking proud of you!!! You made night…

new workout

Post by rockchick_82808 »

I found out a couple days ago that gym no longer gives u a work out routine every 3months. They charge 50 for it now. So I went to the book store this morning before picking up friend for the gym. I was there for over an hour looking at exercise books. I finally found one I liked. Its by womens health called the big book of exercises. After picking her up I talked with her about us creating a new routine every month. This way we don't get bored. She aggreed. She said we should journal our routines so that if we want to go back to that same exercise down the road we can see what we should increase. We plan to check out books as well and make some monthly routines in advanced. She was happy I came up with something. She said its only been a month and she was already bored. Lol.

its been quite a while since i have made a blog. well i have until the 30th to loose a couple pounds. I'm pushin because i made an appointment to do assessment at 5pm on the 30th this month. so far from the stats they had, forearm grew from 10.5 to 11in and thigh was 24in and is now 23in. cardio has improved dramatically! the last time i had done it i was at body age of 29. I'm hoping to improve that. weight is such a struggle but inches are fallin off. weird. i hope to knock off a couple of years from this assessment. I know I'm improving, I'm just happy to even see that. So if i dont make a drastic change like i hope i wont let it get me down. out of the past few weeks of the planed 24days to work out i only missed 3. I'm so proud of myself.

i was talking to bfs brother today and he is a former marine and has been wanting the motivation to get back into shape. He said because of noticing how well i have been doing he wants to do stuff this summer. i told him i want to start running for the first time. when it starts getting warmer hes gonna run with me and start putting me through what he had in boot camp. I'm about to get kicked. lol. I'm excited though to be honest. I cant wait. I want to start running slow on own so i can at least run when we do it. i cant do a pull up to save life though. lol they tried getting me to do it tonite. lifting legs...ya didnt really help. lol

today i did a couple of exercises that i haven't done in a long time bc of how hard they are. basically u start by standing with a stepper in front of u. u then jump on it with both feet, jump down with both feet, drop down to a push up position with hands on stepper, then jump feet in front of u in a crouch position then stand up and repeat it 10 times. i was actually able to do a full set!!!!!!!! go me!!!!!

i have even gotten stronger, i was not only able to pick up bf but walk him on tippy toes. lol!!!! it was funny. hes 6ft and over 200lbs. he was impressed by it. as was i!

I'm excited to see where i end up. i keep looking at how great arms are getting. i hope to tone em up even more by the end of may bc cousins wedding is then and i want to wear a dress with out feeling that arms are drawing the attention like they always have. I'm still struggling with tummy. its a royal pain in the . I decided to start doing small core exercises on the days off from the gym and then the resistance core workouts at the gym.

emotions were continually going up and down. I finally feel like i have leveled out now. i feel more positive about it all. I just cant wait for it to start warming up. at least the snow is gone but that damn wind doesnt help ears any.

needless to say I'm nervious to see how this assessment goes whatever happens I'm very happy with how far i have come. I know its only to help me in the long run anyways i just dont want to hear it. lol

GOOD LUCK and don't be nervous. If you have been honest to yourself, about the need to do all the little things you had to do to make progress, instead of sometimes lying to yourself about stuff and not doing it, you'll be fine.

bad news today.

Post by rockchick_82808 »

I went to the doc this morning. Told her about an infection in botton. She looked at it. She said bc of how fat hangs over and folds it encloses the water when I shower. Even when I lay on back its closed. She said I have to put paroxcide on it after every shower to dry it. That thought of doing that for the rest of life scares me. I really really want to work harder now to get rid of this stomach. The skin around the botton is always raw. It hurts so bad. So if anyone has any tips on some good ab workouts im open to anything. I can use all the help I can get.

I keep trying to help him find something to get him active. I'm so happy he's gonna start. Also...I've been thinking of trying the step class at the gym. When time is right I'll take it. The only thing I can see is, the possibility that the Cardio may hinder muscle growth, or even cut size, but I'm certain the trainer would do it in a way that wouldn't allow for this.

One other possibility, is you take around 10g of Carbs out of every meal, then add the same amount back from Fat, so you add around 4-5g, (36-45 calories), Fat per meal.

This should promote a Carb deficeit that Fat would supply, but stay roughly around a maintenance calorie amount.

I wouldn't go lower than this even if you did it, as cutting too many Carbs could affect training and cut the amount of Carb supply, the Brain would want to assist functions.

Again I'm not trying to override any advice a trainer gives you, I'm just putting these things out there as an afterthought or a for instance.

You are doing brilliantly, so keep up the hard work, you should be so, so proud of yourself.
