I second that... I was kind of hoping in the back of mind that they would go away when I lost the weight!rockchick_82808 wrote:well that sucks. booooooo. lol

i'm the same way. i got so many. mostly legs. it also makes a great conversation starter. every1 has em. its funny, whenever i start talkin about scars people will just up and lift their clothing (some areas i'd much rather not see. lol) out of the blue. lol!amatlack wrote:I think scars give me character!

Cocoa Butter might help as could increased Vitamin E and water, but something like Bio-Oil might be worth investigating too.
Maybe even Hyaluronic Acid, as it is also a component of Skin, not just a Joint and Knee lubricator.

Mine are white - does that mean that is how they will stay? And when I get a tan (which I try not to do) they are more prominent. When I gained weight several years ago I didn't get the stretch marks, but I am guessing with age they get worse because now I have them.amatlack wrote:They fade in color...they start purple and turn white. Mine are all still there, just not as visible. As far as I know, they never go away.

Well, I guess I will have to learn to embrace them!

Stretch Marks are the result of tears in the Collagen, so unless the Collagen actually somehow repairs itself, with some kind of healing or renewal process, they probably would never go away.
