What's that mean? I want to tone up (bigger pecs and back, legs) but want the fat to go.

Had dinner, took the batter off the fish portion and had garden peas.

They are a little, but i don't see why ive still got the fat!!

Day 244

Breakfast - protein shake with semi skimmed milk, half cup porridge oats and a cup of semi skimmed milk.

Feel really fat.

Apple

Can of tuna - 77 cals 17.5g protein

Exercise bike put it on a harder gear and managed to cycle for 40mins, sweated alot, i haven't done it for that long for a while, but im willing to do whatever it takes to look good this summer, just hope that the fat actually comes off and legs and no where else!

4 Egg whites and a kiwi.

About 6 thin ham slices.

Glass of semi skimmed milk with protein shake, only problem is it doesnt really fill me up much.

Need more food in the house, dinner being cooked, homemade sausage rolls but are no good as they made out of pastry and sausages aren't exactly good there-selves.

Running low on protein powder, does 1 look good, only thing is it's whey, i don't think ive had whey protein before, just normal, what's difference.

This 1 seems good that would last a while? But it's expensive. http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/s ... sp?id=4083" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Meals look good Martin.

I agree with Les... If i were you I would focus on building some muscle. I've given you a ton of programs and frankly i don't have the energy or the patience right now to repeat myself on this again. As others have said, maybe go back and read all of the info I and others have already given you. I'm sure that will answer your workout program questions.

As for building muscle... I know youre worried about losing (and gaining fat) in your attempt to build some muscle. If you do a clean bulk where you count macros and make sure you're eating healthy you should be able to add muscle while putting on a small(ish) amount of fat. On any bulk you will most likely gain a bit of fat in the process, however sticking to clean foods will definitely help keep the fat gain in check. If I were you I would be much more focused on building muscle than losing fat. Thats just me though. I dig muscles.

Ok, however i really do want to get the 6 pack, what do you think about me buying this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nutrisport-90-Pro ... 19b9e753b3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It ends in a few hours, it's the equivalent to $66?

Please remember i don't want to be a bodybuilding meathead, just bigger pecs, back, 6 pack and more muscular/less fatty legs.

Respectively i don't want to get any bigger than this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoPThdb_X98" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; He is big, pecs and has a 6 pack, why can't i? It's possible right?

Im sorry Cassie and everyone else i don't mean to stress you out, i appologise ive been thinking about this alot.

Day 245

Woke up late as i didn't go to sleep til 5am.

Protein shake with semi skimmed milk, half a ham sandwich.

Bout that protein powder and what i want to do, i don't really want to get huge, id like to tone up and be ripped for the summer more than big. Need to work on pecs, back, 6 pack and legs.

Workout, bench press bout 4 or 5 sets reps 5-8
deadlifts 3 sets reps 9-10
Bent over barbell rows 3 sets reps 6-7
dumbbell flys 3 sets reps 5-8
dumbell rows 3 sets reps 10
1 set squats reps 10
1 set lunges reps 10

Few sets of crunches
did 20mins slow/steady cycling to burn some extra calories.

Sometimes i can do full body workouts, or most, but the next time i workout i can feel it. I don't normally feel in pain or sore after i workout?

I may be able to put together a routine now, i want to be more defined though, and ripped rather than huge, i feel im big enough in terms of arms and that, just need do pecs and bit of back, legs, abs.

However even if i wanted to get defined i would still need protein right? So maybe il order that protein powder?

Just looking for you guy's advice, thanks.

4 egg whites, dad getting chinese take away, however i should be able to resist 8)

Had chinese chicken soup, with sweetcorn, basically chicken, sweet corn and hot water.

Mum bought chunky chicken from tescos, think it's about 70g protein a pack and about 300 cals? Which is good but obviously don't last forever, and some low fat cheese - 30g = 4g protein, 38 cals and 1.8g fat.

Day 246

Last of protein powder, with semi skimmed milk.

Some chicken pieces.

Slice of bread and a glass of semi skimmed milk before doing cardio.

40mins cycling cardio.

3 egg whites and about 6 slices of thin cooked ham,

Out of protein powder now but still debating whether to buy that one i posted above, i feel like i should as it seems a good one, what's your opinion on it Cassie?

Few more ham slices and kiwi

Had 1 egg, was fried though :(.

Pack of prawns when theyve defrosted - 33.6g protein, 140 cals but 50% salt.

Day 247

Breakfast - porridge oats and semi skimmed milk.

Had some ocean sticks too.

Lunch - can of baked beans - 420g weight, per 100g = 77 cal 5g protein, however i drained most of the tomato sauce out of it so maybe it isn't as many calories.

Also bought a low fat natural yougurt - 500g - per 100g = 48 cal 5.6g protein 6g carb, which is mainly sugar but it's natural? Could be ideal seeing as im going to do a workout soon.

Also bought some chicken bits and fish. Confident with buying that protein powder although it's expensive, would like your opinion on it first though.

Thanks.

Did workout but just didn't feel right today, felt tired even though im not, sweating easy, i may of been dhyrated but i still did best.

In this order.

50KG Bench press 3 or 4 sets reps 5-7
Bent over barbell rows 50kg 3 sets reps 5-6
Deadlifts 50kg 3 sets reps 10
Dumbbell flys 18kg each 3 sets reps 5-7
Dumbbell press 3 sets reps 5-7 had a short rest between though like 5mins.
Dumbell rows 3 sets each arm reps 10
1 set squats reps 10
1 set lunges reps 10.

Had few chicken tikka pieces after, about 123 cal, 20g protein, 6.4g carb, 2.4g sugar.

Really want to get on track, don't need to do cardio aswell now right? Its seeming a bit much but il do what it takes.

That protein looks good Martin.

That workout is a little top heavy.... to many upper body exercises and not enough lower.

No, I wouldn't do cardio in addition to the weights.

Well atleast thats an improvement from the all white bread. Slowly but surely we're making progress here. :)

Damn i feel rotten now lol because you said i made your day and then i went to a progress, which it is i guess 8)

Day 248

Breakfast, wheatabix with semi skimmed milk (need protein here i know, ordered protein powder should be coming soon)

Break + lunch, ham sandwiches with 4x hole grain bread - for break and lunch.

Got home, can of beans same as yesterday.

Did 40mins tiring cycling cardio, wasn't so intense that i can't catch breathe but good enough because it made me sweat. And when i normally sweat i sweat from forehead/hair, this may be a stupid question but does this increase chance of going bald?

Dad making spaghetti bolognese for dinner but the beef mince - 125g = 400 cals, 80% sat fat, which is only about 15g but still 80%, not going to progress much with that.

Instead im cooking 11 chicken tikka bites, about 23g protein - 140 cals i think roughly and a salmon fillet, probly around 20g protein also

Good? :D

By the way, it's tuesday today, 16th march, im going to turn 18 on thursday (18th march), so probly going to give the cardio a miss that day and relax, and in the evening probably going to have a few friends round so may have a few drinks.

Why am i still hungry after eating a fairly high protein meal, maybe i need carbs? Fruits would be ideal.

slice of bread with small amount of peanutbutter.

4 boiled egg whites

Hi Martin,

Well you still made day! You got away from white bread and that is GREAT!

Meals look pretty darn good today! When I'm hungry its usually because I'm not getting enough protein and/or healthy fat. I've found that the more carbs I eat the hungrier I get. Thats just me though.

No sweat shouldn't make you go bald. If that was the case I'd be completely bald. Sweat away friend!

SO you're going to be 18 huh!? Very exciting! Are you getting anything good for your birthday?
