what is worse? Some sort of friend meat (chicken, meat, etc) with steamed rice, or chicken ceasre salad with dressing? Don't know how much dressing, but mainly how do they usually put?
I got a little on the spot today. There was no diet meal, and had to choose. Didn't want to eat fried food...cause I already have yesterday, and to me, I think ceasar is a better choice..or am i wrong?!
The only probl with cesear it really bloats stomache a lot, and sometimes I get fat because of it, but that was when I used to eat it like what, twice a week? Now I eat it about twice-thrice a month or within 3 weeks.
Slo no biggie right? It's not unhealthy, it's just that the dressing is the problem, right? And has a lot of calories and i wont doubt im wrong, cause i know im right about THAT.
What is WORSE?

Eat the Meat and Rice. Salad and Dressing will provide inadequate Protein, and a lot of dressings are too fatty. Meat and Rice will give a better Protein / Carb balance.

aha i see, i eally believe that out of the 29% of fat in body 19% is only the dressing i ate all this time from ceasar salad. I used to aks for more, and more. Although in one resturant they serve fat-free dressing or sth, and is this as bad as the usual sort of dressing?
I mean both foods are high in calories because fried food have high cals. But one thing i dont get, is friend food bad because it's high in cals, and oils is used? are these the only 2 reasons?

Deep frying is not good for food anyway, to be honest, not least for the Fats, but there's a case in point for some of the content to be destroyed, reducing the usable nutrient content.
Not all dressings are bad, but compared to what you had as a Salad thing, a piece of Skinless Chicken or Fish, or even a bit of Red Meat, with Rice, would be better than a salad full of Nuts, and / or Veg, for Protein and Carb content.
If you're going to eat Salads, then add pieces of Chicken, and maybe some Nuts, to get Protein, but the Chicken / Rice principle is always a good choice, though stick to Brown Rice more often than White.

Caesar, or any salad for that matter can be made "fattening" depending on what you put on the base salad. Cheese, bacon bits, croutons, boiled egg yolk, nuts, as well as the dressing make that salad to be more than you may have bargained for in terms of calories. Salads without all of the extras and using lowfat or fat free dressings are a great side to the rest of your meal.(Rage) wrote:aha i see, i eally believe that out of the 29% of fat in body 19% is only the dressing i ate all this time from ceasar salad. Fried foods can fit into your meal plan as long as you regulate your calories. Using unsaturated oils for frying is better for you, just remember, fat calories are fat calories, no matter the source and can still pack on the pounds. Everything in moderation.
thanks for the replies. The salad I ate consisted of" skinless grilled chicken, and the bread thing, not even more than 4-5 5 pieces, and lettuce, and dressing, it wasn't even full or much as in usual..
the only prob is, is that i at lunch in uni, i eat everything else from home, all 3 meals b4 lunch. So I dont always have a lot of options, what to eat, and which has less calories, and so on...not everyday ay least...
So yeah...but I try to estimate things as to knowledge.
