I just started working out about 2 weeks ago. Its been going good but i want to get some protein shakes and bars and stuff. Also when i get home from school i seem to be very tired and sleepy. Im also very tired alot throughtout the day i dont stay up late really i sleep fine. Im starting to take vtimains but would an energy bar help out a little i play sports and have practice everyday after school. Im 14 5'3 and weight 123. Also when isthe best time to workout, after eating dinner then take a protein shake and workout or what/when. Please help me out

If you plan to workout after dinner, give yourself 60 minutes if possible, 30 at least, so some of the Carbs and whatnot, have a chance to start converting to Glucose energy, and start working for you.
As for shakes, most have about 25-30 grams per scoop, so just have a couple of scoops after a workout, or if you don't want to spend money too often on powders, you could keep the use of Protein powder down, have one scoop not two, so it takes longer to use it up.
