FatDre has begun!

I want to start by saying thank you so much for the encouraging words on first post. It really made me feel that I could do this. You ladies understood where I was coming from and weren't critical (thats a nice change) I really appreciated reading your kind words. Well I started walking with a friend for 45min to 1 hour 3x a week. We started that last week. Today I woke up early and worked out for 30 minutes on WiiFit. Does anyone have feed back on the WiiFit? Will it help? And I also went for a walk tonight. So I actually felt really good all day. I had 2 veggies and 2 fruit portions for snack and I had a salad for lunch. Dinner was a different story. husband is a chef and he cooks fresh and nothing light. What I want to try is portion control. I love food way too much to start cutting out groups. Although we fresh that doesn't always mean the healthiest. I'm hoping portion control helps right? :) So today was first day to journey and I felt really good about myself. Hope to hear some feedback on the WiiFit... I just want to know if doing the WiiFit is a joke. I do plan to do some dvd workouts too. A while back I did Billy blanks and I enjoyed doing them and I actually saw results. Well hope everyone is well and have a wonderful rest of the week.

I agree with Brent regarding your mentality and diet. If you want it bad… then it’s a long term commitment of how you will eat and maintain it. It’s not really how much you eat but it’s what you eat. If you have a small salad with bacon, croutons, cheese, ranch dressing versus a large salad with grilled chicken breast, tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms and balsamic vinegar dressing. You’ll be better off with a larger salad….

Anyways… I do have a wii but not wii fit. So, I cannot help you with that. But you can do bodyweights workout. Like lunges (front, back), squats (frog, side, etc…), push ups, planks, leg raises, etc…

Educate yourself of proper food and proper way of losing weight. You are not heavy at all. But cleaning up your diet and working out will help you reach your goals. Keep being motivated and good job for start walking with your friend. :D
