Thanks SOOO much to both of you......very sweet. I delayed posting, as its hard for me to see the progress. The tape measure is much nicer to me, as I can see the change there, for sure. Most of those were taken by 6 year old, he loves to hang out with me, when I lift. I should post a pic of him 'eh?

Thanks LaReina, I'm having fun with it, though I feel I have a long way to go. If it was easy everyone would do it...... :)

Maybe you could show her some of the profile pics of the ladies here that follow a regular weight routine, to show her that muscles can be beautiful, not bulky and that being fit and strong is a thing of beauty by itself, no matter what size you are. :D Ladies come in all shapes and sizes, we aren't all going to be petite or small, tall or lean, but just making the body you have today, the best it can be. I have always been on the muscular side...and I decided a long time ago that this is the body that I was given, and I will try to enhance it in the best way it responds. For me, having strong arms, and legs and being rock solid is something I work hard to keep and if she is like me, and has a muscular frame, I would encourage her to embrace it...go for it! From that one pic I saw of her that time, she looked great! :D

Yuh.....she's rugged (in a feminine way) her whole family is blessed with lots of muscle cells. She keeps saying "I gotta lift with you, yup I'm going to do it today" but gets settled in watching Biggest Loser, and doesn't bother coming down. Volleyball is her thing, and she says she and her friend Kim are going to start walking as soon as it warms up.

They all love to be in the gym with me, just keeping them from lifting. They don't understand the age thing......just if Dad does it, they want to...... :)
