Workout routine

Post by Ries »

Is it better to exercise one part of your body each day, or to have two workouts focusing on upper and lower body?
For example, is it better to have a sepecific workout for chest, one for shoulders, one for biceps, one for quads, etc..? Or is it better to have one workout for upper body, and one for lower body? Also, how many times a week should I do each workout?

if you've gained 20pds of muscle (muscle not fat) since you've started training then you can go a lower / upper body split (2 days of each a week) but if not than a 3 x week a full body program would be best
