Circuit vs. completing exercise?

Post by Fygle »

Hi guys, simple question here.

For building muscle, are you better off doing circuits alternating between sets in your exercises (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2 etc), or completing your exercise ( 1, 2, 3, 4) before moving on to the next? Or does it not matter? I've read a little about this, and there's different opinions.

Cheers.

I made a lot of progress doing antagonistic supersets. i didnt know thats what they were until i was already doing them. for bi's and tri's i would do like say pull ups and go straight to dips without rest and then take a rest. then chest and back, kind of like that. I have been told on here that wasnt the best for gaining mass however. i did get a lot of definition that way though. just depends on what you are trying to do.

Interesting, I'll try this. Also a timesaver. Thanks!
