question por favor

Post by LuluS »

so dad gets these small cans called Glucerna, theres a chocolate, pecan, strawberry, and vanilla, and it's like 200 calories a can with a ton of nutrition with protein and everything.
i'm on a diet where i drink ONLY water, but would those cans be acceptable? i only drank the chocolate ones

just cause, before i started the diet all i drank was soda, literally, ALL....so i need to make myself get used to water cause it's a necessity in diets, so i don't wanna drink juice or anything, but sometimes i get the craving for a sweet drink so i wondered about those cans. they're made for diabetic people, it's like supposed to be really healthy

well yeah i eat food lol, i just substitute soda/any liquids with water

i'm 5'6 and i weigh 203 and i'm wanting to drop to 160-165

i can't do the 5-6 meals a day cause of school, so what i do is i eat at 7-7:30, than at 12:30, and than at 4, and than at 8-9ish

i cut out all junk foods, i try to get a bit of protein in every meal

everyday i eat a boiled egg for breakfast, along with some sort of fruit

i run for 20-30 min everyday, and work out with weights

hmm...i guess that's all i can really say, i try to eat a turkey breast sandwich everyday in one of the meals with wheat bread

and i have one spoonful of mustard in the morning for increased metabolism (i think that works)

any tips would be appreciated please, we're not exactly loaded with money so it's hard to afford specific foods everyday

Are you serious?? By itself??

Try to pack little snacks like almond nuts or mixed nuts, string cheese, hard boiled eggs and cut up some fruits and put it in little sandwich bags. When you are in between classes or walking to your next one, snack on your food. This will help you keep your metabolism going.

Ones with low Salt. Walnuts are the best for Omga Fats, but Almonds are good for people to measure out and pack / create into portions and don't need a nutcracker to open them, or shouldn't, so they are quite a popular choice.

To knowledge though, Pistachios contain Beta-carotene, as you would find in Carrots, so they might be another consideration.

Be aware if you consider taking Multi-vits, as some are not as digestible like others are, so if you can find any inernet research on a specific brand, it would be wise to do so, if you ever consider a Multi-vit.

1g of Saturated Fat is no biggie. Out of a total of 20g per 2,000 calories a day, it's only 1/20 of the total.
