Re: Dealing with gout
1. Avoid Methylxanthines, like Caffeine, Theophyline and Theobromine, so no Tea, Coffee, Guarana, Chocolate, Kola Nuts etc etc, as the Xanthines convert to Uric Acid, though you may well know this anyway.
2. Eat mostly good Fats and Carbohydrates, though you do need some Protein. I'd suggest you shouldn't exceed 15g Protein per meal, to be on the safe side, as you'll still be eating 90g per day from 6 meals and the RNI is only about 60g from memory anyway, plus Saturates are also Nitrogen carriers too lime Amino Acids are.
3. Drinking more water would help, as stored Water helps to flush out Uric acids.
Some of the best things for you would be Whole-grains, Veggies, Fruits, like Tomato, Cucumber and Pepper, also Avocado, Oils, Nuts, Seeds, these contain mostly Carbs and / or good Fats.
Fat is 9 calories per gram and the RNI for 2,000 calories a day is 70g of which 20g max can be Saturates, so you'll be getting 630 calories there anyway, or 105 calories per meal tops, 11.5g approx.
I would limit your Proten sources to Skinless Chicken, Egg Whites and maybe Ham, just because they're pure Protein pretty much, which is easier to monitor, rather than sources with a mixed macronutrient profile, like Beans, Low Fat Cheese, Peanuts for example, as with those, you might eat too much Protein, trying to achieve good levels of Carbs and Fats daily.
Not sure what Power 90 is.
