In fact the real issue with milk is lactose ... you may experience digestion troubles.silent1029 wrote:i heard that you should drink it with water..i tried using water 2 days ago it tastes so much worse in opinion then with milk. but i heard that takes too long for milk to absorb into body thats why you use water. is this true?
Water promotes absorption too so that's a +
The Galactose part of Lactose probably wouldn't be the main issue, unless you were Lactose intolerant. Might cause a very slight bloated feeling in some non-Lactose intolerant people, but I don't think personally it would be a major issue.
The thing there is the Lactose could possibly increase the absorption of Protein powers, due to the Carbs, but the fact is you could increase the levels of Fat in your mix, depending on type of Milk used, add more calories to it compared to water, increase percentage Casein amount, which could slow digestion rate down, and incease viscocity of the mix as well, potentially slowing digestion rate down as well.
So better to use Water. You could try possibly reducing water amount, and see how that works. Obviously not so much you get sludge, but just enough so it doesn't taste like Watery chocolate, or alternatively, use a different flavour.

whey after cardio workouts?
Hello, I have been doing cardio with empty stomach in the mornings and wieght lifting 4 times aweek in the afternoos or evening. I have using optimum whey after both cardio and weight lifting wourkouts. am I doing right? And I whey is flovared 8Choclate and strawberry). I know that it includes artifical flovars. Is it bad for weight loss? Thank you!!
Re: post workout whey
Whey Protein is not bad for weight loss, but don't do fasted Cardio. It's not ideal to do Blood Sugar lowering activity when you're Blood Sugar is already low.
If needs be, do the Cardio after weights, and maybe limit it to 2x a week if you do it more. You don't need to do too much anyway.

Ok. Thanks. I am newhere and need some opininons. Mymain goal is weight loss (40 pounds) and have a fit body that I have ever had. I am 34 and 172lbs and 1.57cm. I had lost weight 2-3 times before. But lowest weight had been 130 lbs. Now before entering 35, I really want to reach goal in 5 months. That means I want to lose weight 2 pounds a week.
Here is what I eat and do:
1. 07:15 fruit and low 1/2 scoop whey protein
07:45 CARDIO (exercise bilke at home for 45 minutes) (5 times week)
2. 08:45 oatmeal + 1 scoop whey
3. 10:45 fuit + non fat yogurt
4. 12:45 chicken + vegi + 100 gr yogurt
5. 15:15 150gr yogurt + 10 almonds + vegi
6. 18:15 vegi + beans + 100 gr yogurt
19:30 STRENGT TRAINING WITH BLACK GYMSTICK (3 times a week full body)
20 minutes bke + train + 20 minutes bike
7. whey protein after workout
P.S. Once a week might go to swimming or do Interval on treadmill
P.S I like walking when I find time. But it is just brisk wailking. I mean in the afternoons, I like walking 40-45 minutes when I find time besides this program.
I have two questions in mind.
1. Is Gymstick enough regarding weight training? I can not go Gym now due to life circumstances. I live in two cities
2. Shall I do strenght training in the mornning after meal 1 so that I can make it garantee that I do it. You know may be in the evenings there might be un,planned events. If I do so, mght wieght loss be slow since I do not do cardos n the mornings with almost empty stomach.
I would appreciate it if you have some ideas about this plan. Thanks in advance.

Re: post workout whey
Do the training in the mornings, limit the Cardio to about 2-3 sessions of 30 minutes stuff, after weights. Split sessions obviously.
Diet looks fine, although I'd allow Fruit time to digest before having Yoghurt, so it doesn't affect Fruit digestion too much.
