PROTEIN SHAKE

Do i hav to drink protein shakes if im doing weight training just for building up muscles and reducing fats, if so then how much grams of protein it must have and at which time i can drink it

i do weight training three times a week, what about other 4 days can i hav protein shakes on those day too

3 things to remember about Protein shake consumption.

1. Have one after workouts, if you're not going to eat something within 1hr of finishing.

2. You could have one at night, for anti-catabolic reasons to protect muscle mass, but it's not vital.

3. You could have 1/2 a scoop with Breakfast, to boost protein intake, but it's not vital, as you do have options like Eggs, Ham, Chicken, Turkey etc etc.

The first option is the main one, the other two being optional.

Whatever time you consume one on a workout day, substitute it for a meal on the non-workout day. Not least as unless you buy a poncey expensive and pointless one, that might contain some Vitamins / minerals, using a basic cheaper powder, and substituting meals for shakes, could promote increased risk of Vitamin / Mineral deficiency

so the whole shake thing is optional.
now ill concentrate on ma fats and will get rid of it first. then muscles, coz i wana build lean body mass
