Where should i go from here??

Post by Bigboi118 »

I would still like to get bigger and stronger. In first year i havent really accomplished much through lifting, strength wise, Its fault through
not keeping the workouts fresh and not doing more reading/learning, but i have learned alot of exercises (no telling if im doing them right though lol)
and sorted out discipline to sticking to routine and preparing all foods and eating decent, body has changed alot since starting (for the better).

Im just looking for some advice on what should do in the new year in regards to training, any help appreciated

Would largely depend on what you're doing now.

if you've gained more strenfth in the last 6 months then get bigger

if you've gained more muscle in the 6 months then get stronger

if you're about even then choose whatever one you want right now and off you go

swanso sounds like your talking in riddles lol, I would prefer to get stronger than bigger (whats the point if your big but not strong)
But if i get stronger, ill be getting bigger anyway wont i???

Bossman I have been doing alot of the same stuff, Full body workout Monday, Wednesday, Friday and HIIT cardio Thurs, SS cardio Sun
With ab workouts (planks, crunches etc) on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Im tempted to try a split routine to see how body reacts to just
working areas once a week, instead of what i do now i.e benching 2-3 times a week. Alot of lifts dont seem to be going up so training and diet
need serious looking at.

not neccesarily, look at olympic wt lifters, strongest in the world but they have wt classes

well if you wanna get strong you gotta lift heavy with low reps, there's no other way, spotter or no spotter
