squats

i have just gotten into doing back squats, and i was wondering if someone could answer this: i have been told by some people that squats are good for burning fat or gaining muscle. i dont really understand the burning fat part, and was wondering if someone could clarify.

Squats can build Muscle, but as they can create a thermogenc environment for the body, by helping to increase or stabilise a higher core temperature iin the muscles, then such processes could be connected to Fat loss.

once you gwet the wt up you'll see how hard they get you breathing if you're doing them hard

Yeah, especially if you don't breathe properly during the Squats, which is easy done, when you're concentrating so hard, you're doing little tiny breaths through your Nose.

Then you realise you need to breathe properly, when your BPM, goes up after a set of Squats, by about 30-40 BPM :shock:
