I have been doing cardio for at least 7 weeks now. i do intervals of 40 to 50 minutes a day 3 to 5 days a week. Im not seeing any result on the scale. diet consists of
Meal 1: oatmeal, 2 walnuts. coffee 3 egg whites
Meal 2: apple
Meal 3: cup of chicken noodle soup, salad with tuna or turkey 1/4 avacado
meal 4: 10 almonds, nonfat chai tea
meal 5: chicken, veggies
snack: handful of dry cereal
Im thinking that I'm probably not eating enough...not sure. but i have been reading on the forums and learning about nutrition etc.. I just started doing a bowflex just not sure where to start. I'm getting frustrated not seeing any fat loss. any advice on how i should change diet? or exercise? Thanks so much

(Only need 3 sessions of that, for 30 minutes.)
Meal 1: oatmeal, 2 walnuts. coffee 3 egg whites
(Increase Protein, so perhaps add a yolk, or a bit of Chicken or Ham perhaps.)
Meal 2: apple
(Need more Protein here too. Again some Flesh might help. Give the Fruit 10-15 minutes before you eat something else, to increase digestibility.)
Meal 3: cup of chicken noodle soup, salad with tuna or turkey 1/4 avacado
(That looks fine.)
meal 4: 10 almonds, nonfat chai tea
(More calories needed here. Boost up Carbs from things like Whole-grain, Veggies, some Fruits, like Tomatos, Peppers Cucumbes etc etc, and add more Protein.)
meal 5: chicken, veggies
(Looks fine)
snack: handful of dry cereal
(More Protein here.)

Re: Need some advice
Weights have changed life and body in ways that I had never even imagined. Before getting serious about weight training I ran half marathons and did 100 mile bike rides and was STILL CHUBBY. Not only was I chubby but I was always injured (bad knees) and was having chronic lower back pain. Since beginning a solid weight training routine lower back has never felt better, body fat is the lowest its ever been, and knees no longer ache. PLUS I have more muscle on body so i can EAT more and not have to worry as much about gaining (the more muscle you have the faster your metabolism).
