hope you guys have a lock on your workout room door.....the kiddos might get a whole new outlook on mommy and daddy's exercise routine!!

kidding aside..I think it's great that both of you have similar interests and find things to do together - that's very important to a healthy happy marriage. :D

BIG lock......... I am thankful to God for her, we are so compatible, we love being, and doing things together. Oddly, we never seem to get sick of each other, and walk around holding hands etc. like newlyweds. I think it's pretty rare, though I wish it wasn't.

that's one of the important things in a relationship that no matter how long you have been together, always treat each other like you are on a date - even if its just you, her, the kids, the dog - all piled up in the living room watching a movie and eating popcorn! And it's important for your kids to see the two of you holding hands and treating each other kindly (even if they think its "gross", they still need to have that reasurrance :) ) - it means alot to them, even if they don't say it.
You both are very blessed to have each other - and it sounds like you have a wonderful family :D

Sat. 11/21

Front Squats--45/10 wu, 65/12, 75/12,12
Bench--145/12,11,5
Wide Grip Pull-ups (-50)12,8,8
Stiff Leg DL-12/12,12
Mil. Press-75/12,12,12

Weights for front squat were pathetic, but I went to the floor, and I could really feel them, legs were toast after. I was taking 90 sec. rest periods, and strength seemed to die out quickly on the bench and pull-ups. Have 11 days off now, so am hoping for good solid un-rushed workouts. I also missed a workout this week.

Sun. 11/22

Four good hard VB games.....gr8 play. We actually won again, definately got heart beating. Banged chin (somehow) on a plastic 5 gallon pail, didnt really hurt, but swelled up about an inch into a hard square knot. Must have bled internally, as its purple down both sides of leg to foot. Not usually a clutz.....but I wear ankle braces during VB, and oh did that hurt the whole time.....I know, suck it up!!!! I did..... :D

Mon. 11/23

5m ellipt.--wu
Deads--135/5wu, 185/5,205/8,225/6,6
Bench--170/7,8,7
Step-ups--30db/12,12,12
Arnold Press--30db/12,12,12
Close Grip Row--160/10,8,8
BB Curl--65/12,75/12,80/12

Pretty tired from Sunday, but got some done, felt kinda pale during the deads, so changed things up a little, did curls for a change, and Arnold Press. It seemed easier than what I normally do. Barbie is in Florida for the week, to be with her parents, so some of fire is gone with her not being around. I miss her............ I know...I'm pathetic.

Question.... did you use a barbell for this workout? Is it usually lighter than for your back squat? I was considering of doing fronts sometimes...

Awww....how romantic.............Now, SNAP OUT OF IT!!! Use this time to recharge, make some great progress in your workouts...clean the house, do something special for her, think of some things that you know she has been wanting done around the house and do them, so when she comes home, she will be so surprised and happy...and you will earn major "good hubby" points! :P It will make the time go by faster if you stay busy. For me, personally, if I was gone for a week and came home to a spotless house, dinner cooked, groceries bought, and the dryer door finally fixed (ours won't shut without the buzzer staying on!) I would be the happiest spouse in the world, and trust me...so would husband later on....(if ya know what I mean! ) So, I guess what I'm a tryin' to say, is to try to look at it in a positive light, and make the most of the time you have apart so that when she comes home she will remember and appreciate why she chose you in the first place! :D

HAHA....to funny, you really got me cracking up. Here I was, expecting sympathy for hurt leg....hehe. I am planning to do way better than last time she went away, as with me and the three monkeys left alone, we can make a mess. I went to Home Depot, and picked up a few lights, as she wants more lighting in a couple places, and do plan on the place being really clean, when she gets back. I know she will expect it to be a mess...... :) Prob gonna wash, and wax the van too.....Winters coming. Thanks for the boot in the butt Lynne.........
