that's what i got yesturday Lu...i know you can;t put avtual email addreses in it or swearing but i had none of that yesturday

The message regarding profanity, also includes directives regarding weblinks and one or two other things.

Likelihood is, you might have tried to send a message with a weblink in it, if so, you can replace the "." part before the extension with something like (dot), and if needs be explain why you did it.

It's a form of anti-spam measure for use with the PM system.

As for using the PM system Oscar, you simply go onto someones profile, then click e-mail me. That opens the PM window, with the persons name aleady in the send box.

As for not getting notifications, it may still be a problem with the way some servers list Shapefit e-mails, and either bounces them or destroys them.

This was a problem before, a while back, and is not something Shapefit can do, other than for Admin to negotiate with people like Yahoo, Hotmail etc etc, to get the way automatic notifications get listed on their servers.

More than likely if this is it, someone like you the end user, cannot change this, as it mainly requires Website to e-mail server communications, between administrators / senior personnel.

not getting notifications has been an ongoing problem - one day I'll probably get a ton of them again to catch up and then normal ones like it's happened several times in the past. Who knows!

Not sure about that. As I said, some time back Admin informed me, the notification issues, stemmed from some e-mail providers such as Yahoo, blacklisting Shapefit mails for some reason.

This may to some extent still be an ongoing issue, or perhaps something relating to you.

If you use a mail system, that grades mail with a numbering system like mine does, you might want to raise the maximum level for permissable mails, so if you only permitted mails with a spam rating of 8 or less, to promote spam blocking, and Shapefit mails mostly rated 9 or 10 for example, consider increasing the permissible level to the lowest number above 10, to see if that helps.

Or add the Shapefit sending address to a friends list, to boost potential reception of mails.

Perhaps you accidentally added it to a blocklist by accident, if one time you got one appearing in the inbox, right next to one you didn't want, and accidentally blocked the wrong one without noticing.

I'm also having issues. I'm trying to send a message to admin and I'm getting the same message as everybody else... message has no links or profanity... I've tried several times. No worky. Any advice?
