What a good fight

Post by Nokie173 »

Anybody watched the Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto?

Image

Personally, I like both.
Cotto is such a humble guy and very good at boxing.
He hung on to the 12th round & didn’t get K.O.
But there needs to be a winner and Pacman it was.
It shows… Not only strength but speed!
Dude… that man is FAST!

So the public is waiting for Pacquiao vs Mayweather…. Can’t wait! :D :D :D

Well if Hatton ever comes out of retirement, which isn't beyond the realms of possibility, Mayweather was never off the cards, although losing to Pacquiao didn't help his cause, os perhaps that would be some way off, including a Pacquiao rematch.

Personally, I think Mayweather would edge Pacquiao. Considering I think Mayweather is a step up in weight, it may prove a step too far.

I agree Mayweather will be a tough one. That’s why I’m excited if the fight really will happen!!!
Cotto was at the advantage or being 2 inches taller & ½ arms longer.
But Pacquiao got in & under and broke his guard (It's the speed i'm telling ya!)
As for Hatton… I really would like to see a rematch...

Ironically, Hattons brother Matthew drew on a controversial points decision recently, to a guy ten years older called Lovemore Ndou, who is rumored to be wanting Ricky now or soon. Ndou kept his title.

Most people think the fight should have been a definite victory for the Matthew, so perhaps a rematch will occur, before the option of an Ndou, Ricky Hatton fight ever happened.

Possibly in theory both Hattons could fight each other.

That would be a darn interesting fight because pplz keep saying Matthew only live the limelight b/c of his brother Ricky.
I just finish reading Ndou trash-talks Matthew Hatton... what sup with the trash talking yo?
Anyways.. I just heard... Maybe.. but it's a long Stretch ... Mayweather VS Matthew Hatton...
Mayweather wants to "show" his skills in the UK... But the public wants him vs Pac... who knows... one day?

Who's putting the Mayweather, Matthew Hatton stuff around? Press, Mayweather, his agent?

Clearly this is in the last 24-36 hours, but I'm not aware of anything over here, although I didn't watch any news earlier this evening and went to the Gym after I ate, so maybe it could have been said, unless it was reported over in the U.S. and will possibly filter over here soon enough. I don't know.

Interesting thing though. Question is, would M H go for it, because on the one hand, some would say he's not ready, or some would say he was trying to trump Hatton, and if he won, to appear to be in his Brothers shadow, then suddenly do something he hadn't, how would that affect the media dynamic, surrounding the both of them?
