They can, because they think they can.
~Virgil~

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
~Robert Collier~

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.
~Aristotle~

Our greatest glory is not in never falling; but in rising every time we fall.
~Confucius~

Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.
~Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe~

If you can imagine it you can achieve it. If you can dream it you can become it.
~William Arthur Ward~

Treat people as if they are what they ought to be… And you help them become what they are capable of being!

“There is no such thing as a small miracle. A gym is a place of miracles where people do things they once thought impossible- lifting heavier, squeezing out one more rep, finding discipline and willpower they didn’t know they had. They’re amazed at how good they feel and look and carry their new power into the world. This is the miracle I wanted to give to the world.”

~Joe Wieder~

And... just a little poem for fun....
A pretty bird with a pretty bill landed on window sill
I let him in with a piece of bread
And then I smashed his stupid head

( dad taught me that when I was very small... probably 2 or 3. I used to go EVERYWHERE with him and when we'd go places just for kicks he would tell people that i had a poem and have me recite it. Funny stuff.)

Oh.. and LaReina just for you...

I see your hiney
Its kind of shiny
You'd better hide it
Before I bite it

LOL! Anybody else reading this thread is going to think i've completely lost it.

I've heard of butt biting before. There was a story some years ago, about a person with a slight mental problem, who was on a planned day out one day, being supervised, but unfortunately he'd been not cuffed or restrained in any way and whilst at a small lake, he sneaked over to a babies pram, and bit baby on the bottom  .

Fortunately, the babies nappy prevented any hurt, but the people who had him in their care were criticised for failings in his supervision.

I think the parents didn't sue fortunately.

As for Haiku's you could try this.

I once wrote a Haiku.

It did not have any sentient structure.

I still wrote it anyway.

Also, another piece of eloquent poetry.

There was a stage athlete who was carb deprived,

The lack of carbs made her look boss eyed,

She practically hadn't the energy to move.

But at least her Quads were fullsome and smooth.

Someone came on a website,

The folks were all quite mad,

Swanso had his soapbox,

And Packard's like your Dad.

Les kept quietly waffling,

Cassie was going insane,

Vamp just found it baffling.

The loonies were at it again.

The Boss wrote random spoutings,

That filtered from his Brain.

It's like those old school outings.

You'd never go on again.

Yes the loonies ruled the Asylum.

All day, and every night.

But as long as you don't rile 'em.

You'll probably be alright.

LOL!!!

Oatmeal and Eggwhites

I love oatmeal
Oh yes I do
I love oatmeal
and eggwhites too

I love them together
All steamy and hot
oatmeal and eggwhites
I love them alot

I like to add cinnamon
And sometimes berries
oatmeal and eggwhites
make me feel merry

I eat mine in a red bowl
bought just for this meal
oatmeal and eggwhites
this breakfast is ideal

Complex carbs and lean protein
a breakfast for winners
I love them so much
I also eat them for lunch and dinner

I like eating Fillet Steak,
it makes me feel good,
it's healthier than eating cake,
and the Iron helps your blood  .

A little kid was smoking,
he thought that it was fun,
until he started choking,
and then hacked up half a Lung.

Omega 3's,
Omega 3's
good for your Heart,
and good for your knees.

This wasn't written by me. It's an old one I can't recall the authors name.

I eat Peas with Honey,
I've done it all life,
it makes the Peas taste funny,
but it keeps them on the knife.
