Joint pain

Post by Zappafrk_65 »

I remember reading it, but can't find it anywhere.. Is there foods in particular that will help genorate the fluids in your joints ? Think I remeber reading it as PEPPERS, RED ONIONS, but can't remember the others... Is this correct ?

I'm starting to feel some discumfort in knees  they just ache some, not bad, but enough..

Peppers, Onions and Apples contain Quercetin, an Anti-inflammatory and Anti-histamine. It is available in supplemental form.

You can also get an anti-inflammatory effect from Bromelain, (supplemental or as component of Pineapple).

If you want improved lubrication of Joints, try taking a Hyaluronic Acid supplement. You can sometimes get products like that that contain Glucosamine and Chondroitin as well. Be aware though that Chondroitin as is the product Chitosan, contain Chitin, a Shellfish derivative and if you are allergic to shellfish, they could promote the same effect.

If you have a Cartilage problem try something like Cartazyne.

Also with knee discomfort, be aware you might be having the following.

1. improper form on some weightlifting exercises like Squats and Lunges / variations.

2. Beginning of some chronic or temporary conditions like Osteoarthritis or Chondromalacia Patellae, (a.k.a Patello Femoral Syndrome, Housemaids Knee, Secretaries Knee, Runners Knee.)

3. You may be spending prolonged periods of time, with an improper Knee position, say when using a computer, or sitting to watch TV.

You need to be aware of these issues just incase.
