hypothetically you could eat nothing but veggies but if you are eating more than the amount of energy your expending, you'll put on wt. It also depends on how much ice cream you have and when you have it. I have ice cream everyday and i haven't put on lost wt for months although the one i get is a low carb one. All that being said, it's goes back to the old saying, eveything in moderation. a diet won't eva work if you can't indulge every now and then just not everyday. use it as a reward for 3 - 4 days of sticking to diet plan or it will just take longer to get the results you are after
