All exercise burn fat on the entire body and not just one body part, even people who think spot reducing is possible agree that it's very hard to do and you'll still lose fat all over you'll just lose more fat in that region...
however if u do other exercises that are designed to strengthen your mucles (ex. abs) then the muscle may "suck in" the fat around the stomach area and the muscle will also help you burn more fat... As for cardio stuff i don't think anyone has ever mentioned using a treampoline before, but i tried it and it's a pretty good workout (although not as intense as other cardio like running) it's also supposed to be good for bloodflow and doesn't put a lot of stress on the joints (good if you're an older person) and i don't know if this is a good idea but if it's too easy for you then maybe you can add weightbelts or something to make it harder (is that a good idea? i might try it for myself)...

What exactly are burpees? And what more specifically should I be careful of if I'm doing plyometrics?

Burpees are where you do a Squat thrust, then you add a Jumping Jack on the end.

if you know what those are, you should understand a Burpee, if not I'll explain further.

when training for increased speed and vertical leap it is understood that for plyo's to work you need to be able to squat 1.5 x bodyweight but i have no problem using low level plyo's with client's for conditioning puposes as they get you breathing more anything else you'll do...you'll need a soft surface though as they can be hard on the ankles and knees and if you have past or current problems there, ease into slowly...probably start with basic rope skipping then maybe move to lunge jumps, lateral cone jumps and jump squats with short rest (1min)
