Protein shakes aren't a bad thing at your age, though too much Protein could be, but I don't think if you had something, that contained about 25 g's of Protein in it, once a day, you're going to end up with a Kidney problem.

Losing Fat around the Abs is hard anyway, as you can't do what's called Spot Reducing. Meaning you can't just target one specific area, and lose Fat from it. Most Fat loss is an all over thing.

The Crunches sound fine, but you should consider some kind of jogging as well, to have a Fat Burning effect. Even if you go jogging for 20-30 minutes 3 times a week, you will be more likely to stimulate a Fat burning effect, than just doing the Crunches on their own.

I would advise at your age not to try anything that utilises weights.

If you stick with the Crunches, and incorporate some jogging, you will improve the chances of doing what you want.

You should also keep your diet clean, so don't eat loads a junk. Stick to healthy food sources, and don't be tempted to snack on things like Crisps, or other stuff like that. That won't help.

Hopefully that helps.

Well at 13 / 14, your Bone structures are still developing, and even if Muscle tolerates the stresses wights put on it, Bones that aren't properly developed don't and may be damaged during the teenage growth phase.

Bones come to full developmental state about 17, 18. gym disallows under 16's from using weights, although a lot do anyway, unchallenged and use sometimes horrendous form / technique.

personal feelings are light weights at 15 perhaps, but you're a bit too young, and the risk of damage may be not right for you. You'd be better sticking to bodyweighted stuff and Crunches, for another 12 months, to be on the safe side in opinion.

wait so you think that using 5lb dumbbells to do these exercises is too much for me?

-dumbbell front raise
-dumbbell lateral raise (very similar to this)
-dumbbell rear lateral raise (but without bending knees and i lock elbow and don't move it)
-cable curl (while sitting on a chair)

and would you say these are good bodyweight exercises?

Frog Stand
Knee Ups on the Ground
Lying Supine, Single-Leg Hip/Thigh Extension
Static Lunge
Single Leg, Bent-Knee Deadlift
Single Leg Squat (is it ok if I put hands on wall for the entire exercise, but I don’t use them to help me up just for balance)
Push Up
Curl Up for Rhythm
Wrist to Knee Curl Ups

And lastly, i can still do weigthed crunches, right? (since they don't put pressure on any bones, not that i knwo of anyways)

Okay, weighted Crunches maybe okay, as your Dumbbells are 5lb, I would be inclined to say yes, for now, but don't go higher, because I can't tell you what your current tolerance levels are in relation to your bone development.

At the end of the day, I'm trying not ot say yeah, get some 15-20lb DB's and kick , as you might get injured, so it's about being careful, and taking your health into consideration.

Though on reflection, the 5lb DB's seem okay, but be careful, try to brethe properly, and use good form.

Hopefully you understand where I'm coming from. I want you to get physically better, but not so that you risk some of that effort, causing a slight problem, that you regret in 40 years time.

recommendation is to have your parent/guardian set up an appointment for you to see a registered dietitian who specializes in weight management for teens. This way you can have a one on one dialogue and start on program that fits your particular needs. You may then be referred to a qualified fitness professional.

And no, it's not possible to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks.
If i were you I'd try to set a goal of losing 30 pounds. If you eat properly and excercise you should be able to reach your goal in about 4 -5 months maybe.
