Hamstrings
Is romanian deadlifting doing enough for hamstrings? After I do them the next few days are sore as, but just checking that should I be doing hamstring curls as well in order to avoid an imbalance with squatting and lunging.
Re: Hamstrings
why not?If you squat you don't need to lunge.
and how do leg curls baance out squats and lunges?

Re: Hamstrings
to me if you want a lot more hamstring muscle i would suggest that you do lunges too with squats they both workout your legs and they give you a good workout there variations on lunges like side, front, and other variations try them out

Re: Hamstrings
well you can try this i saw it on mens health website Dumbbell Swing how to do it Stand with your feet more than shoulder-width apart. Hold a dumbbell with a hand-over-hand grip and your arms hanging down in front of you. Push your hips back and lower the weight between your legs until it's under your butt. Drive back up to a standing position and swing the weight up to chest height, keeping your arms straight. Go right into your next rep and continue at a swift pace.im gonna do this today for first time i'll follow up

Just had the impression that the hamstrings werent targeted as much from squatting and lunging so hamstring curls might be a good way to balance it out. Feel free to correct me.
Re: Hamstrings
if your sitting back with your squats and getting right down to the floor on your lunges then hams are getting a solid wporkout...also deadlift variations is the best way to train them

Re: Hamstrings
I do stiff legged dead lifts for femoral biceps. Good morning exercises work too and require less poundage.
I think you should balance out your quads with equal amounts of femoral bicep work to keep your legs well-balanced (and don't forget your calves).

When you don't own a TV set almost any form of entertainment is enjoyable.Lesplease wrote:I've found calves to be *quite enjoyable* since you can train them creatively.

Sew your own foundation garments and I'd be really impressed. (Girdles are hard to sew.)Lesplease wrote:If I had a tv I wouldn't have so many "marketable" skills. Yesterday, for example, I made an armband for ipod. Pretty cool eh?
