son is 11 yrs old and has pain in his knees - I have taken him to one of the best Orthopedic docs in city. Doc says son will be very tall and that these are "growing pains" and he needs to build his quad muscles
What do you recommend for an 11 y/o. He want to play football and his knees are slowing him down. thanks for the help
I would have him do Pistols which are 1 Legged Squats and maybe some other bodyweight squats depending on his current strength and stamina. Search Pistol Progression or 1 Leg Squat progression in google and something should come up. If not than post again and I'll check archives.
