Calf implants? Now I've heard it all. I got bemused once hearing about Buttock implants.

Makes you wonder if there's any place on the human anatomy, you can't do it. With the possible exceptions of a Toe, Finger and Nose.

Yes dear, I've spent $2,000 on Eyeball implants, so now Eyeballs will stay perfectly moist, all day loing, and no Dry Eye ever again.

Look they put a tiny little implant just behind each Sclera, near the tear duct, so you'll never notice, unless I get stoned .

Calves are a bit of a difficult area, because they're very small, and comprise the Soleus and the Medial and Lateral Gastrocnemius, so you're working two very small areas, not even one moderately sized area. Even though the Calf looks like one complete muscle, not a combination of more than one.

I saw a guy at a local bar last year who had biceps implants. (They were peaked no matter what position his arm was in.)

It would appear that everyone at the bar was fooled by this except me. date commented on how big the arms were and found it hard to believe that I could tell that they were implants.

I think implants under the muscle in the calves would fool me far more easily than the biceps implants.

What surprises me is the number of women with breast implants who would have been better served by first getting a rhinoplasty (in terms of overall appearance improvement).

I worked legs again yesterday.

Squats

65 x 12
85 x 12
85 x 12
95 x 12

Dead lifts

95 x 12
105 x 12
115 x 12
125 x 12

leg extensions

70 x 12
80 x 12
90 x 12
90 x 12

legs are not sore today like they were last time. They were really really sore for two days and sore for about five days.

I know that is not much weight but there is no way I can lift much more weight than that on the squats at home safely. With the leg extensions, 90 is all the weight I can use. I can add a lot more to the dead lifts but right now 125 is close to a good weight for me.

What should I do about the squats? I think the most I would feel safe with at home without a squat machine or rack would about around 150. I can extend the bars on bench so I don't have to bend down and pick it up that far and that helps.

Use the clean and jerk technique to get the bar over your head on heavier weights. And use the same technique to get it off.

I can't throw weights down in the floor like that. They will not bounce so well.

do front squats where you hold the bar in front of the shoulders so you simply have to clean it up if you can...if not do lunges where you use half the wt but need to put in more effort (balance, stability etc)

120 x 12

Up to this now.

Squats

110 x 12
120 x 12
130 x 12
140 x 12

Dead lifts

12 x 115
12 x 135
12 x 125
12 x 145 I think I can do a bunch more here. I bought workout gloves and used them for the first time today and it made a world of difference.

Leg Extensions

95 x 12
95 x 12
95 x 12
95 x 12

I was thinking about cutting out a cardio day and adding another leg day maybe on Wed. I still have about 5 to 7 pound of fat to get rid of though. Would that be wise or should I stick to cardio for that day for now?

Right now I do three. If I add that, it would make it four.

Why in the world would I ban cardio? There is no way I could have lost 40 pounds without it.
