Third one is best construction, right? It says Lifetime warrnty on all parts. Does that mean the seat too? Should fitting in smith machine be a consideration?swanso5 wrote:3rd one looks the ebst but it depends on what you want to spend and if you want the other parts that the 2nd one comes with
I do want the feature in the second one but those exercise can be accomplised differnt ways and so not a priority.
In trying to make final decidison to order an inclined/declined bench, here are some facts:swanso5 wrote:if you don't have a smith machine it shouldn't...i'd go a power rack over a smith machine 1000 times...safer, cheaper and better

Pros
good steel constrution, lifetime warrenty, good padding
Cons
not a complete positive lock in the flat and incline positions,no t-bar hold down
The Bottom Line
I would recommend it. Not T-bar hold down and the no positive lock for the incline and flat positions bother me.
(He paid $187 )
I am a bit concern about the his complaint though he recommends it:
The bench is pretty nice. It seems to be well constructed. The tout the fact that you can use it in a smith machine. I use mine for dumbbell workouts. I like the fact that as you slide the seat back for move of an incline position that the seat height gets lower - this makes it easier to reach teh dumbbells on the side. The padding is just right. I wish the leg hold down as more of a t-bar design. The current one set of rollers is not sufficent to hold you for decline sit-up and is marginal for a decline bench press. Build quality is average - the main steel section that slides along the main bar is what the seat attaches to - the welds for the seat attach are not level and thus cause seat to be not completely level -- I metioned this to bodycraft when I sent in warrenty registration card - I asked for a new piece -- I'll have to see if they come thru.
only other quibble is that at the flat position and the 90 degree incline -- the bench does not completely lock - there are slots that the pin engages in and thus there is some play - that gets annoying. There is a knob on the bottom to take out this play but why should I have to use a know -- just make the slots as holes and use a tapered pin to engage in the holes for positive engagement and no slop.
Any comment about his complaint? I am small (not much hand strengtht) and wonder whether I will get annoyed with the things he pointed out.
I don't know whther it is the same as above F320mm wrote:

Now , what does both attachments in
"F320 System Bench with both attachments" refers to? Arm curl and leg extension attchments? They don't come with it, right? Why call System bench?
