Need advice
im 21 5'3 and 190 lbs. I was wondering if someone could make me a work out plan to go by. I really want to work from the stomach up but whole body needs work. I want to lose at least 40-50 lbs.
Re: Need advice
Hey crazired, I'm suprised no one else has responded. I am new to this forum as well and I joined in order to learn a better way to lose weight and stay fit. Do you have a gym membership? Do you have any home equipment? I have an orbital for cardio, dumbells and a simple bench for weights, some rubber bands and a mat. I do workouts mostly at home. I also have a bike so I am able to mix it up and get a good variety of exercise. I was over 190 lbs several years ago when I decided to straighten up. I am now 162 lbs and have been for a long time. I would like to drop a few more pounds but I feel pretty good about myself. It sounds like your primary goal should be to drop your weight. This site has calculators for daily caloric intake. If you revise your diet accordingly, start a combination of cardio and strength training you should see your weight drop dramatically for a while. Again this site has a multitude of exercise routines, advice on cardio and good nutritional information. The hardest part is staying motivated. The greatest motivater is success. Once you see the weight start to drop and you start feeling better you never want to go back. If you don't feel that the home workout is for you then join a gym. Anyway, welcome to the forum. Look around the site and you will find some great ideas and information. C.
Re: Need advice
Don't aim for 40-5lb drop if you're 190, I'd aim for 30lbs.
You could end up a little on the rakish side otherwise and if you stayed like that, your hard work for years, would result in not much better old mans condition, than all the other rakish dudes, that slobbed all their life.
160 lbs might be a size you really like, as it's not too big, but good enough, so that when you're older, you'll still have some decent muscle mass and bone density left, that you can work hard to keep.

Re: Need advice
What equipment/facilities do you have access to?
What is your fitness history? Have you ever worked out? Done any athletics?
Are there any other health issues other than the weight issue?
or female? Your user name is not much of a hint.

Re: Need advice
Packard. Says it in the profile.
Makes sense as well. I don't think that's an input error, as I don't think a woman would want to aim for 150lbs initially, as that's nearly natural bodybuilder weight limit territory, and quite a lot weightier than a probably average lean, 120lbs, so 150lbs with little muscle, would make a female look what some might call skinny fat.
Not being a tool, just pointing that out

I don't look at people's profiles; I'm not that nosey. (Plus there is no truely purient data included. Perhaps we could add: M.O., Yes/No.)Boss Man wrote: Packard. Says it in the profile.

I only looked for clarification purposes, as the username wasn't giving anything away
