a weaker leg

Post by moman129 »

when doing single leg stuff(step ups especially) with weights.I'll go 10 reps right leg leaving maybe 1 or 2 in the tank but can only get 7-8 with left and actually last rep may not be perfect form.
now the question is if I wait to get left leg up to 10 reps with same weight is the right leg actually making any gains.I always do the week leg 1st.Is there a quick for this,do I change the weights for each leg.
you guys are great, can't believe how much I've learned in the last year

2 options...

1 - do the weak leg first and only do for the strong leg waht your weak legg gets (sets, reps, wt)

2 - do an extra set for weak leg but still first

actually 3 options

3 - both

I agree. Whatever you do, don't train the stronger one harder or you will further the imbalance.
