for every 1" of muscle you want to put on your arms you need to put on 15pds of muscle on your whole body

A few tips

Post by fitnessedu »

1) Use good form. Make sure you're not just trying to throw up as much weight as you can as fast as you can. Bring the weight to the top of the movement in a controlled fashion, squeeze at the top, and take 2-3 seconds to bring the weight back to the starting position.

2) Don't neglect your triceps. Your triceps make up most of your arm.

3) Lift the whole range of weight/rep/set ranges. Do light sets of 12-21, medium sets of 8-12, and of course heavy sets of 5-8.

Check out fitness and nutrition blog. I'm sure you'll find something useful in there. http://nutritionfitnesseducation.blogspot.com.

Good luck!
