Have you tried viewing the exercise, as a way to work some of the emotions of your daily work, out of your system, so it helps you to keep the things seperate to some extent?

Maybe that is what is needed, just to keep a positive spin on the workouts, and also to remind yourself, you're doing this for you, because if you didn't workout, you might increase the risk of getting a problem in the future, that people you treat may have.

Worst thing would be to work in a place like that, then by the age of 70, be in one.

Not trying to sound a like a profit of doom, but of course all the health benefits can't be overlooked. Plus you ARE worth a lot of the time and effort you give to yourself.

You deserve to be healthy, and deserve to have good quality of life, so it might not seem easy to do, but for your own future, and your own health, you owe it to yourself, and deserve to put the time in.

I know you can manage to do this, you just need to be strong, and be patient and understanding with yourself.

Good luck :).

If you have the will… you have the way to make it happen!

Trust me girl… I work 2 jobs…
I work from 6AM to 9PM in between… I sometimes have to take time off and take the train to parent’s house and take them to the doctor’s office... then run back work, then gym. BAM same thing over and over!

If you are talking about Money….Yes, money is important this time around with this kind of economy. But your health is ALSO important! By taking care of you, your healthy... you have the possibility to save tons of money from future medical bills due to bad health!!!!

I will pay more for better and healthy food than fast food (processed food)!
I rather take time while I’m young to work out and educate so when I’m old... I can be healthy and chase grand kids around the park!
I want to live long enough and be healthy so I can go through ups and downs with significant other.

You can do it too girl… It’s hard at first but once you get used to it, you will love it.

As Katie mentioned above, why you are so exhausted in the mornings? Sleep late? Wake up too early? Are you eating enough?

I know just how you feel. I am deployed to the desert and work 12+ hard hours a day, 6 days a week. I usually have only 10 hours for myself a day. I came here needing to work out and struggled for the first 2 weeks to get the motivation to start. I have been here for 4 months so far and only a short time left. I have actually been working out 5-6 times a week and running about 4-5 times as well. Needless to say with eating well and working out i have gained about 30lbs (muscle) i can see 6 pack coming back and really the only motivation was to suprise wife when i get home in a month. She probably won't recognise me. i am alot darker then i was as well. i made a deal with wife when i get home i will start working out with her. you just have to find something in yourself to keep you going. mine? wife's look on her face when she sees me for the first time again and the look on face when i see surfer abs i used to have.

I lack motivation too! Think you just have to commit to it and find an exercise routine that you actually enjoy. After awhile, it will become second nature, and you'll feel bad if you don't do it.
