Muscular endurance question
I currently and at 5 9 and 175 pounds. I am very satisfied with strength and power however I want to improve muscular endurance. Mainly I want push ups, pull ups, chin ups, dips and other body weight exercises to improve drastically. Right now i can only do about 45 push ups straight and i only about 12 pull ups until failure. I want all these things to be drastically improved. Any special tips??
Use a weight belt or balance wieght on your back if you have someone to hlep you. Then it'll obviously go up without them. And just keep pushing yourself. Summer before last I decided I wanted to be able to do alot of push ups. I started at about 25 a set did maybe 100 in a day. By the end I could do 80 in one go and could do close to a 1000 in a day if I had the time. Itll come.
search "greasing the groove" then which is probably the best way if you have the time...getting stronger will actually "potentially" increase your endurance...if i can bench 200pds and you 150pds i'd be able to do more reps with 100pds than you for example but you'd still need to train a little for it...just be sure to maintain strength at the same time though was point...it only takes 2 - 4 sets a week for that
