Need Advice/Opinions

Post by B1rdm4n7 »

Hello everyone,

Im 16 years old, 6'0' and weigh 155lbs. I was wondering what would be the best exercises for me to gain muscle, would it be less reps, more reps, long workouts, short workouts our full body workouts. Or would it be better for me to take supplements? If so what ones should i take?

Thanks for the help :) [/b]

Are you still growing (height)?

It affects all decisions in this regard. But in general I would avoid heavy lifting until 17 or 18 (or until you've reached full height).

Not at 16. Maybe at 18, Definitely at 21.

If you stopped growing at 16, I'd be concerend about changes to your Test and GH levels. Could be indicative of an Endocrine problem. So expect to keep growing some more, or you might be displaying signs of a medical anomlie otherwise.

I'm not saying you can't stop growing at 16, but it's 99.99% unlikely for sure.

friend graduated college and got married at 6' 4". He got divorced and re-married 4 years later and the suit pants were 2" too short. So very tall men continue to grow for a longer time than shorter men.

Until you are full height, your joints are not fully developed and it is unwise to over stress them. Use body weight maximum for most of your exercises until you are certain you are full height.

You're not birdman; I suspect your growing days are past.
