Taking family camping next week!
We are headed out tomorrow morning to Dummers Beach Campground in beautiful Weld, Me. We have reserved a campsite right on the beach....you walk out of ur camper, and your feet practically land on the sandy beach. It is a beautiful place that we visit every year. Our three boys love it, as do we, we will be soaking up lots of sun, waterskiing, fishing, swimming, jumping off the boat, and hopefully enjoying good family time around our campfire every night. Consequently, voice here will be silent, as there is no internet there (no cell phone reception either
I will get lots of exercise, just it will involve a lot of water. I hope everyone here has a gr8 and productive week. Trains hard, eats clean etc.

Well, we made it back safely. Had a gr8 week camping on beautiful Webb Lake. We go every year, as they have sites right on the beach, which is awesome. We take our boat, and can moor it right in front of the site, so boat activity is a snap. I didn't follow any particular diet, just tried to keep caloric levels where they should be. Tried to pick healthy choices, as much as possible. Should be interesting Sunday morn weigh-in, and measure. The week was full of boating, fishing, water skiing, kneeboarding, bicycle riding, campfires etc. We climbed two pretty good mountains: Bald Mtn. and Tumbledown Mtn. to Little Jackson Peak, which was an awesome view. There is a pond near the peak of Tumbledown, which is stocked with trout, and they're very friendly, and interested in being fed. calves are pretty tight today, and quads and hams are spent from hiking and water skiing. Trying to stretch everything back out. Hope everyone had a gr8 and productive week!

Hey Thanks. A lot of years we just sit on the beach and eat, so we all end up gaining. It was actually a picture of myself at camping a few years back that got cranked up to change figurefitoverforty wrote:Welcome Back! It sounds like you and your family had a great time, and you managed to stay on track and get alot of exercise![]()
"Tumbledown Mtn" - I hope it didn't get its name the way I think

Not sure it got the name, but a beautiful place. I looked it up this morning and its 2.5 miles one way, a mile of that is pretty easy climbing, but the last 1.5 is pretty steep. Fortunately none of us Tumbled down it, though that might have been easier on legs.........
