Hey, just thought i could show progress and get some feedback, the before pics are from mid september 2008 i weighed 105 pounds and its when i first started. Now i currently weigh about 132 and continue to lift weights 4 times a week. I just recently started cardio again oh and no leg pics since i didnt have any before ones but i workout whole body evenly. Any feedback would be nice new goal is 150 pounds with low body fat, i am currently about 9% body fat. I gained about 27 pounds of muscle in about 10 months
Wow! Awesome job Sean!! I can see serious improvement in those pics!!! 150 pounds is totally feasable if you keep up the hard work!
What kind of cardio are you doing? Cardio has lots of benefits but I wouldn't do too much as it does burn calories... which could ultimately set you back if youre trying to put on weight. Again, great job! Keep up the hard work and you'll be weighing 150 in no time at all!
You are joking aren't you. I mean a 105lb baby, would probably give the Mother a bad Hernia, possibly stress fractures and Brooklyn Bridge sized stetch marks, that would probably go away, if you used 2 bottles of Bio-oil a day for 10 years .
By the way Sean, what age were you? As that is a low starter weight. I'm guessing perhaps you maybe only ate small food portions a day perhaps. Not being rude just wondering.
Keep going man, becasue I've never seen anyone start from a weight that low before, but you prove anything is possible. I imagine some would have said, it's not, because there's nothing to work with, but if they did you're certainly proving them wrong now.
Well the thing is I was 14 when i weighed this much just turning 15. I was overweight for about 3 years and never worked out in life. I was very athletic before I became overweight. I played football in the 7th grade and was very skinny but in good shape. I always was skinny and never thought i would change.
After football season a went to a life of just sitting there playing video games and eating whatever i was in terrible shape and weighed about 160 at 5 foot 4 at the beggining of freshmen year. I was that size till spring break and was made fun of a lot and only had a couple good friends who pushed me to get in shape along with family and thats when i decided it was time to change. I started running every single day and practially starved myself which was a very bad idea. After i lost about 40 pounds in a month and started lifting lightly just doing bideps and abs every single day which was also a terrible idea. Thats why i was so skinny cause i starved myself and did a completely wrong lifting program. I soon came to this site in septemeber of last year and got a new program and tips on what to do. Thats when i started lifting good and eating a lot but i was still doing it wrong. It took me a while to get it right but i finally did around january and thats when i really started gaining. So as you can see i have been through a lot and i am in the best shape of life right now and life has never been better and i hope to continue it and be like dad who is a big guy at 220 and is extremely strong, he is role model.
I suspected possible dietry issues might have played some part, in that weight level you had.
The main thing is you're getting over that now, and looking forward. That is what counts. I see no reason to doubt your ability to achieve what you want .
Wow I had completely misread you. Sounds like you have some experience in the weight gain and weight loss department. I just thought you had a fast metabolism. :) Whatever youre doing is definitely working now! You look great and I know if you continue what youre doing you are going to be seeing awesome results!
You are doing awesome! Keep up the good work and please (if you don't mind) keep us posted on your progress! :)
