Day 24
Woke up did 40 reverse crunches and sit ups.
Breakfast - 1 slice of toast with peanut butter 3 boiled eggs glass of milk also 3 peanuts from the shell as i was waiting for the eggs to boil.
10:45am bannana to keep me going was a little sick about 10mins after, could of been because i didn't give it chance to digest was only like a sick burp sort of thing.
Went to the shops, did a bit of walking mixed with bus journey. Was hungry and plenty of fast food places around like Mcdonalds but i resisted temptations and when i got in i had lunch.
For lunch i had, a piece of honeydew (like watermelon but yellow), 2 slices of toast with peanut butter spreaded on them, 4 slices of chicken roll, and half a can of tuna.
Also went round a mate's house earlier and had about 4 moam small sweets, hopefully won't affect diet much. Also got in about 11pm, ate wheat thin crackers and an apple.
I have just spent 30mins doing weight training and that was so hard, i was almost screaming at some points and i couldn't catch breath, was getting worried i was going to have a heart attack or something, hopefully it's nothing as serve as that and hopefully im just pushing myself in a good way not a bad way.
arms don't feel any bigger, but acher. I hope this is paying off as it has almost been a month now, as for tomorow it is ment to be a cardio day but i am unsure wether to do that as you said only do 2 cardio days a week and perhaps replace it with a weight training day or have a day off?

Ok then, also, what do you think of me getting protein powder, sorry if youve already answered this but i couldn't find an answer, basically im reconsidering it because someone has told me that it's not worth using unless im spending 5 days at a gym a week for hours.cassiegose wrote:Tomorrow is your choice. I've already answered that question like 5 different times. If you go back and re-read previous posts you will find the previous answers that i've given you.
I apologize for bluntness Martin and i truly not mean to be rude but I feel like i'm simply repeating myself over and over and over with you. I simply do not have the time, energy, and patience to continually tell you the same things over and over and over again. If you have new questions, I would be happy to help but will no longer answer the same questions over and over.

I think the fact that i have suggested it numerous times in this email should tell you how I feel about it Martin. I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't think you would benefit from it.
I agree 100% with Nokie. This is a learning experience. Nobody can tell you exactly what is going to work best for you and your body. Nobody can tell you how fast youre going to see results or what kind of results you will have with the efforts your putting in. I have NO IDEA when you are going to lose the stomach fat. There is no possible way for me to give you an answer to this question that you ask me everyday. This stuff takes time and it can take quite a bit of experimenting to figure out what works best for your body. Eating right and exercising is NEVER a waste of time. NEVER. There are sooooo many benefits to healthy eating and exercise besides just fat loss that even if you aren't losing the fat at the rate that you want, you are still benefiting from your efforts.

Ok, thanks anyway Cassie
Day 25
Woke up did 40 reverse crunches and 40 crunches
Breakfast = 2 wheatabix with milk, 1 oatcake biscuit (46 calorie, 1g protein.)
Had a bannana before lunch to keep me going.
Lunch - 2 slices of toast with peanut butter, 6 slices of pork luncheon meat (26 calories a slice, 1.4g protein) And a few peanuts after (the 1s in the shell, didn't eat the shells though).
Dinner - homemade pizza with lots of peppers, veggies, onions, lettuce, bit of garlic bread and potatoes.
Also had 1 oatcake biscuit (46 calories)
When hungry, snacked on ocean sticks/fish sticks/crab sticks. And wheat thin crackers.
hip on the right side is really aching today, could this be due to the weight training yesterday? And will the weight training improve strength? make me stronger?
Decided to do cardio, increased it an extra 8mins and 200 calories more according to the bike, 48min 15 sec, 22.1 miles, 1000 calories, although i doubt it's 1k calories burned, did about 9 minute 1 minute intervals, going fast for a minute, stopping for bout 5mins to go back to normal pace, and repeat.
Also mum said don't over excercise cause i might have a heart attack? Is this possible? I know im getting really out of breath and tired because im working hard, but surely it's not this serve? Am i overdoing it, am i putting too much pressure on heart?

As for you having a heart attack... I've been working out for a long time and have yet to have a heart attack. If you have some kind of pre-exisiting heart condition then you might be concerned, however I don't believe simply working out is going to give you a heart attack. You could speak with your Doctor on this if you are concered as, as previously mentioned, I am in no way a doctor and do not claim to be giving and kind of medical advice.
Not sure why your hip hurts. Does it feel like muscle pain or bone/joint pain?
You need protein with breakfast and some kind of protein and healthy fat with the banana.
Yes, weight training builds strength. Thats the point of it. It also builds muscle if done correctly and if the proper diet is followed. If you don't eat properly don't expect to gain too much muscle.

Thankscassiegose wrote:If it feels like a muscle pain then it could just be sore from lifting weights. If this is the case the hip should feel better in 3 days or so.
Your meals today look good! I'm glad to see the eggs back in breakfast and tuna and lunch meat for lunch is great Martin!

Also just a thing, I'm trying to variey between the eggs and the tuna as i don't want to eat too many eggs or fish. Any other things that are high in protein and pretty simple?
