You're very welcome for the advice Martin.

As I said.. you TRULY are doing GREAT!! Id venture to guess that some changes have been taking place but are so subtle that you might not be able to notice them as you are looking at yourself every day. When I started training for upcoming competition I took before pictures so i can look back on them and see how much body is changing. There was a while there where i honestly didn't feel like I was making any progress, however about 2 months after I started, I took more pictures and compared them to "before" pictures. There wasn't a HUGE difference but there definitely was some. If you have access to a camera you could give this a try and see what you think. Again, I think you will see results fast than I had because I had been training and eating well for sometime so wasn't starting "fresh" like you are. Typically when you just begin an exercise routine you loose fat faster than somebody who has been at it for a while. You could also try taking your measurments and using them to monitor you progress.

Aside from the fat loss... How do you feel? I feel so much better when I exercise and eat healthy. I have more energy and feel like i'm much less stressed. Have you noticed any changes in your energy levels?

Keep up the good work! I'm proud of ya!

BenV wrote:I have to point out to Martin that Cassiegose and that woman who said you spent too much time on the computer, if you haven't realised, are being very patronizing towards you.

Look at the stuff she's writing -

"It is EXTREMELY frustrating when we commit the time and effort to help you and you continually ask the same questions over and over... its almost as if you aren't even taking the advice that you've been given"

"Its just frustrating when you ask the same questions over and over again... and its frustrating when I answer them over and over again. I want to help you but need you to actually read the advice that i'm giving you. ;) "

Excuse French, but F*** me Martin, this girl has a problem....

If she genuinely wanted to help you, she wouldn't be writing this stuff and giving you directions to boil an egg. She chose to reply to your thread, and if you remember, she started by saying "ask me as many questions as you like". If she didn't like the way this thread went, she could have left it at any time.

advice is - Kill this thread off and stop writing back to this woman, Cassiegose... she isn't helping you. She seems to be a bit of a weirdo who enjoys giving "advice" to a teenager, and relishes the power of being able to become "frustrated" with you when you don't do exactly what she says.

If you showed the thread to a friend, or your mum or dad, they would probably be able to see this, too.

If you want some serious advice on weight training or nutrition/diet, I know one or two very good discussion forums where some guys can help you out without putting you down and if you want to get into weight training they can tell you more than this Casiegose woman can.

I don't know if you can send a private message on this site but if you can then send me one and I'll send you one back with links to those other sites.
Martin, whatever this individual chooses to say, ignore it. This person is clearly not acting in anyones interests but his own. THe help and support you have recieved here is paying off, and you are starting to do well.

There is no need to go anywhere else, when we CAN continue to help you.

The only thing anyone can see Martin is someone called Ben V stirring it up. Cassies record here with people is nothing short of caring, helpful and considerate.

She has a high reputation, and longevity on this site. This Ben V, has no reputation, and has been here less than a week, and frankly on this evidence whatever reputation he will get, won't be a good one.

You're doing well Martin, so forget about this person spreading his bad word.

This site is a successful, helpful resource, and I've seen sites like this before, that fail to do that in some ways.

Keep going Martin, you're doing well. We DO believe in you, and we don't disregard members that want our help, and respect us at the same time.

The only person here with a problem is Ben V.

Ben V would do very well, not to repeat such one sided rhetoric against members, lest he find himself no longer welcome.

Day 17

Woke up did 40 reverse crunches sets of 20

Did 40 crunches sets of 20 however i really struggled to do this again for some reason don't know why but found it really difficult.

Breakfast - 2 wheatabix and milk

Lunch = 2 slices of wheat bread 6 slices of ham (12 calories a slice, 1.6g protein)

Snacking on organic wheat thin crackers.

Had about a 1/3 of a whole honeydew (like watermelon but yellow)

Now going to do 40mins of cardio and go out to the shops.

Back from shops, had dinner (toad in the hole) 2 sausages, potatoes with gravy.

Hi Martin,

Not bad. :) You left the eggs out of breakfast today.

Breakfast: not bad. I would add protein here.

Lunch: Grrrrreat!!

Organic wheat thin crackers aren't bad. I would add peanut butter with these or maybe lunch meat or low fat cheese for extra protein. Can you tell that i LOVE protein? :)

I've never had toad in a hole. Sausages aren't the best but I know you have to eat what your parents . Potatoes and gravy aren't the worst thing you could eat. Did you happen to get any veggies with dinner?

Good job Martin! Keep it up!

Day 18 Trying to have a variety so i don't eat too much eggs or anything. Sadly, no results and i have still have that bloated look, though i need to breath in a little (it's like it's just sitting at the bottom of stomach.

Woke up, did 40 reverse crunches sets of 20

40 crunches sets of 20. Few sit ups, few of standing on knees and stretching right arm forward left leg back and vise versa.

Breakfast = 3 boiled eggs, 1 slice wheat bread toasted, and a glass of milk.

Dad dared me to have a red hot chilli, ate it hole and damn it burned, hope this won't affect routine.

Lunch had fresh seaded bread with wafer thin roast chicken.

Done 20mins worth of weight training.

Will continue to update after dinner however, im considering buying some protein powder but that's only mainly if i need it, and if i did get some i would possibly only use on the weight training days, would you mind recommending me some good brands which aren't too expensive?

Also should i be doing sit ups or anything to get rid of the fat sticking forward on . I been doing 40 crunches and 40 reverse crunches before i go to bed and when i wake up but was wondering if im doing enough and will i see results soon or not?

For dinner had stew, with beef or lamb one of them, dumplins, vegetables, mainly all good stuff.

If i go out for a drink on the weekend will that ruin work?

Martin,

Your diet so far today looks GREAT! You are doing such a good job and I can't tell you enough how proud of you I am!

I'm not sure of any cheap protein powders in your area. I'm in US so its hard for me to give you suggestions for that.

You can keep up the situps if you feel like they are giving you a good ab workout. Keep in mind that those wont actually get rid of the fat on your stomach, but they will work the muscles under the fat. You lose the fat mostly through diet and exercise.

I believe you are doing enough to see results soon. Oh.. and the hot pepper won't make a difference in your diet.

Day 19

Ok, this is awkard, i was out last night with mates didn't get in til really early and have only had about 3 or 4 hours sleep i still feel tired now. Had 2 cans of beer last night roughly (hope that hasn't affected things and might be going out tonite to a mate's birthday again will this affect it as i really don't want it too.

For breakfast which was late as i got in late was 2 wheatabix and milk and a cup of milk going to have lunch in a minute. I rode home slowly on mates bike took me about 20-25mins. I'm ment to be doing cardio today but i am so tired, if i get the energy il try to do it but i feel really tired as it is, i just can't sleep again i feel dissapointed and hope this won't let me down.

Lunch = 2 slices of wheat seaded bread, bout 6 slices of wafer thin roast chicken.

Dinner = dad bought a takeaway for the family (chinese)Ive had a few mouthfulls of it, even though i don't want to eat it all because i had some meatballs and 2 slices of bread (ihad them because i thought i couldn't have the chinese) but then again i think, it's been 19 days now and i still look the same anyway.

Thanks

Day 20

Woke up, done 40 reverse crunches and 40 crunches.

breakfast = 2 slices of toast with peanut butter.

Lunch - 4 organic crispbread (40 calories each) with peanut butter and wafer thin roast chicken slices.

Snacking on organic wheat thin crackers when hungry.

Drinking only water and a coke zero can (no sugar, 1 calorie)

Dinner = slice of bread with butter, 1 jumbo pole fillet. (Fish) think it was like 360ish calories? few chips (oven baked) and peas.

It's like i need the skin on stomach to be in other parts of body, also some fat from top of legs to be spreaded round body rather than most of it being in one place. Kinda hard to explain.

Also, was out tonight, a mate wanted to go to mcdonalds for food, we went, however i didn't get nothing, just asked for a large diet coke. However, let's look at this in the worst case scenerio. The coke was a bit sweet so i wasn't sure if it was normal coke rather than diet, let's hope not. But worse way if it was will this affect diet. I was also a litle bad earlier as i have a caramel digistive (just one) 81 calories and a tiny choc circle biscuit. Both only little, and sort of had as a treet from 3 weeks, again hope this hasn't affected diet.

Thanks, will i see results soon as it's been about 3 weeks now?
