Protein Powder

Any recomendations for a good protein shake or powder? One that fills you up and high in protein, doesn't taste chalky, etc.

Chances are you're just going to have to experiment. Some will taste good to you and others won't. NOt sure where you live, but if there is a GNC I really like their Complete chocolate flavor. That's favorite.

Apparently On Whey is good. I personally though stopped using powders a long time ago. I found them not too great, difficult to mix, and with an acceptable though not wonderful taste.

I use this sort of thing now. The link may be a bit slow, but it does work.

Product Link

Ignore the 75g Carbs, on every bottle I've ever had, It says 50.

This is good for me, as for a limited time after workouts, when Protein consumption can be increased, I can have half of one of these, then go home, and have some food as well, and drink the other half later on.

I used to get another similar kind of one in old gym.

Just a simple drink, with Protein, Carbs, and Maltodextrin. No funny sounding contents, no mixing problems, no messy powder spillages sometimes, better tasting, no possible mixing lumps slowing absorption down etc etc.

I personally wouldn't have Protein Powders again. They are effective, and yes mixing with a fork, reduces Lumps, but for me, it's better having a drink, and then I don't have to store a big tub, or lug it to the gym all the time. The Gym keep drinks in the fridge, I buy them when I go, and 50g of Protein and 50g Carbs, is equivalent in price to 2 Chicken Breasts, so although I get 10 less grams of Protein versus Chicken, I get all those Carbs, so it's good value I think, and worth it over Protein powders.

Though obviously I'm not saying drink those, and ditch Chicken. I like Chicken as well

So if you can find anything like that, on-line, or in stores, might be worth checking drinks out, as opposed to powders, if you want that option.
