How often should we train wearing skins?

Post by geoalehay »

I trained wearing skins today, and what a difference they make!

It lead me to a question:

Should we train mostly in skins, or should they be limited to a couple of training sessions only, while training the muscles to cope without them more often than not?

They are fantastic at warming the muscles before training, especially in colder weather, and it allows you to kick right into top gear from the word go, where as without them, sometimes in cold weather you have to train for up to 10 minutes or so before the body core temperature reaches high enough to go 100% effort.

How often should we train in skins? All the time, sometimes, or on occasions?

For those who don't know what skins are:

You can buy them from any sports store.
