I signed up on the website about a week ago and I can't tell you how much it has helped me AND wife, we are both on the same page and working hard at getting in shape, we follow the suggestions on here to the "T" and are excited to get the results. We are going on a crusie in december to celebrate getting out of debt and we both want to be skinny by then. I was wondering if it was realistic for me to beleive that I could lose 35 lbs by then. I'm 23 and I haven't been below 190 in 7-8 YEARS!! but I want to know that I can do it safely, I am 5'11" and now weigh 225 lbs caloric intake is 2000-2500 cals a good spread out in 6 meals and its all good stuff and I'm trying to eat as much protien as possible. Please let me know if it's possible, I just gotta know!
thanks!!!
What do ya think?

Losing 35lbs in 5 months is a very reasonable goal. A safe weight loss should be 1-2 lbs per week. So if you lost 1.5lbs per week you would be almost right there (you'd be at about 30 lbs) which would probably be a great healthy weight for you! Try to not focus so much on the pounds lost as the way your body will take shape. Follow the weight training ideas here in the forum and ask as many questions as you need regarding your diet and you will be amazed at how your body will transform itself! Congratulations to you and your wife for taking the first step towards a healthier lifestyle! You can do it, and we're here to support you!
