how long do you wait between each rep?
after doing your 10-12 reps for a session how long do you wait to do another 10-12 reps..basically the time from putting the wieghts down to picking them back up again? for myself i have been waiting 60-90 seconds and im willing to bet thats too long..but id like some comments from others on if i should shorten it to 30 seconds or 45 seconds?

i like that feeling i get in arms and shoulders that burning type feeling..the pump..and ive brain washed myself into thinking if i wait 60-90 seconds and whatever body part im working on cools off im not making progress..i have to keep that part warm and keep the blood running and pumping to that area..

I have concluded that pump does not relate to progress. In fact once I started doing upper body cardio work (punching bag, heavy bag work) ability to get pump diminished. Increasing your vascular capacity in your arms will mean less pump--but not less progress.
I recall having such large biceps and forearms that when pumped (but after shower) I could not button the top button on dress shirt. In fact even when not pumped I found it difficult to do so. Sometimes exercises done to extremes do not enhance physical capabilities, but rather create obstacles to the same.
