Split or Total Body

Post by AtlaS »

Do you prefer Split Routine or Total Body workout for muscle mass and weight gain.
Some of them say that you work all your muscles daily in split so it's better
Some of them sat that you work all your muscles in one day that makes you grow bigger.

But some says you must rest so you mustn't do splits.
But some says you don't get exhausted while total body, it's not useful.

What do you prefer?

Yes I've done both of them.
And I got more exhausted when I'm spliting, but they say full body workout is better for weight gaining

In Men's Health it says:
"Three days a week: If you're not a beginner, you can adopt a split routine. The easiest to remember is the upper-body/ lower-body split. You alternate between them, so if you're training three times a week, you'll do upper-lower-upper 1 week, then lower-upper-lower the next.

If you're working out four times a week, you'll do upper on Monday and Thursday, and lower on Tuesday and Friday.

it is

you're not more exhausted all over, you're more fatigued in certain muscles groups

there's a difference there

I find that full body is the way to go especially if your like me and your schedules all over the place. Just easier to remember and then if you miss a day you don't have to worry about catching up because the next time its all going to get done!
