Hi everyone,
Things continue to look good. I had hit a plateau for about 2 weeks but I had lost inches during that time. Now I have lost more weight; a total of 47lbs so far!!!! Thank you all for you continued support. By the way wife has also lost 16lbs so far. I am very proud of her!!!
The main thing is by the sound of things, you didn't get overly concerned or panicky about the plateau, you pushed on, and the results started to come again.
Plateauing can happen to some people in your situation, without having to be something to do with caloric levels, or training methodology, and sometimes if it's not necessarily related to any such things, it can happen temporarily, like in your case.
Might just be something triggered it off, like a slight fluctuation in certain hormones, a bit of stress for a few days, a few days of fluctuated sleep patterns perhaps, or some kind of temporary medication might have done it.
So it's good that you didn't appear to get anxious, and start drastically altering diet or training, as some could, and it could be a step into the unknown if they do it, without consultation of anyone with any understanding on such matters.
You should be proud of yourself man. It takes time, but you've always consistantly lost weight, by slow and steady means, not dramatic weekly losses, so I know you'll be fine long-term.
