here's a doozy...

Post by heidi_sweetclover »

Ok-- so, i am trying to put mass on legs and really lean out core and arms. I am pretty well proportioned, but i fall just a little bit into the apple shape category.

Right now I am doing 45 mins. of slow and steady cardio in the a.m. 5-6 days a week.

3 days a week is upper body (switch up between abs, chest, arms, back, lats- light weight, high reps) in the p.m., followed by 10-15 of cardio just to burn off any excess sugar

2 days a week is legs- HEAVY weight w/ 9-11 reps x 3-4 sets w/ no cardio afterwards

On cardio/ upper body days i eat lighter, but still get plenty of protein intake, and on leg days, I try to eat an extra 200 or so calories.

Is this goal even possible? Any suggestions???

not really

you can try going into a cutting phase exclusively and simply do high vol for legs ans hopefully that will make them grow on it's own

do not do 45mins easy cardio, you'll put on wt from lack of calorie use

you need something to define so if there's no muscle there and you're doing high rep sets, chances are nothing is happening

definition is all about diet so the train with regular sets and reps (4 x 8, 3 x 12 or something), increase the intensity of your cardio x 2 - 3/week and eat clean, clean, clean
