Did 45 minutes of cardio- that's longest yet. Whooo hooo. Went and bought myself some "work out gloves"....you know I need to protect hands when I'm lifting whopping 10 lb dumbbells. :P I am starting to see a change with body so I'm getting pretty excited. Before long I'll be one hot mama! haha.

Had body composition done today - remember I have gained and lost the same amount in the last two weeks ending this past Sunday at the same weight I started - BUT I lost 5.3 lbs of FAT!!!!!

That was since 5/8 not since the beginning of the program.

To answer that question I'd have to admit to being weighed which I promised not to do - but of course that had to happen to get body composition. I lost 3.5 lbs in total, so I gained 1.8 lbs of muscle.

Of course our weigh in on Sunday's at 6 PM may show something different - we fluctuate so much throughout the day. But I'm happy with the progress so far! body fat percentage went from 31.9% to 29.5% - Doctor said ideal is 28-29% for age. I'm thinking I'd like to be 25%, he says I'm not being realistic?!?!? What do you think?

Just read that for women 41-60 the body fat range for a healthy woman is 23% - 35% - guess 29.5% isn't so bad, but I still want to be at somewhere between 25-28%.

We can do it!! :)

Had some trouble with dead lifts yesterday - left shoulder seemed to be giving out, and I couldn't hold the bar as easily as I did the day before - it seemed fingers were weakened. I lowered the weight to 80 lbs and that was ok. Today lower to mid left side of back has a kink in it - think I did something wrong? Or should I expect these things as the weights increase?

Good news - Single arm DB Row is up to 40 lbs! Lat Pull down up to 60lbs again - was up to 60 before but had to rachet it back a bit - funny how that happens. Guess we all have good and bad days.

Today was Cardio - 6 intervals ok, but duration has been difficult for me - 60-75 secs at most.

Today's Workout went well.

Performed Hip Flexors, Supine Bridges - also a few other stretches - got calf cramps in the middle of the night when I stretched out! OMG - I had to wake husband!
3 sets of 5 squats with 95 lbs (Squat rack)
Incline Bench Press (40lbs) paired with Single Arm DB Rows 40lbs. 5 x 8

EDT - Squat Shoulder Press (used 30 lb BB), paired with Stiff Legged Dead Lift w/bent row (also 30 lb BB) no rest - I think it was 5 sets of 6 each. I lose track. :( I normally do these with 15 lbs DB's - liked the BB.

Finished with Squats, Push Ups and Bench Jumps - Push Ups real tough for me - even fake ones!

Day 19 complete! Only 8-9 days to go!!!!
