Warm up to working sets of Pullups?

How would i go about that?..

im doing chest and back together(the ABBH program)
Pull ups 5 sets of 10
Dips 5 sets of 10..

how does one warm up to something like that? im using own bodyweight for the working sets

You could try doing lighter weight on lat pull down?

very good suggestion..it makes sense to me however, its a shame 16 views not more then one advice.. glady there was 1 right!? lol thank you once again!

well that's not really warming up for pull ups, it's warming up for pulldowns...try inverted rows x 1 set then do 1 - 2 low rep sets of pull ups and off you go

swanso, where were u when i needed u bruv!? haha..

i ended up doing pulldowns lol it was a fuked up warm up and i couldnt even complete 5 X10reps .. the 3rd set after 8 reps, i was having trouble getting all the way up!.. I need to start doing more pull ups! lol

just do 5 sets of as mnay as you can..don;t go all out for the 1st 3 sets though or you'll bomb on the last 2...go 1 - 2 reps short of failure for the first few

what if im doing Pullup/Dips superset. Whats the ideal/most effective way to warm up.. uve told me about pullups already

yeah i mean ive been doing that, just thought maybe there was a way which could be more effective..

When ur doing pullup/dips superset, ud warm up as supersets too right?..whats the best exercise to dips to warm up?close grip bench? light weight low reps?

bench dips if anything but probably just dips

you shouldn't need a great deal of warming up if you're not adding wt to them
