Been watching what I eat and exercising for a month now, and have been losing around a pound a week. I was wondering, if I'm trying to lose body fat, would a whey isolate after workout (lifting and cardio) be more harmful than helpful in goal of losing body fat?

Helpful, not to necessarily lose weight, but for recovery of Glycogen and Bloodsugar levels.

i know that you need more protein when losing weight than gaining muscle.

I normally train after work and have a post shake. Fills me up a bit and I tend to eat less supper. So I think it helps me personally.
