Physical fitness test!

Post by pedd0r »

Hy guys!
I started to prepare for a physical Test at the moment. I want to have maximum points, so I have to do following 5 exercises:

1. run a nine meters range bidirectional 4 times in 8.6 seconds or less

2. Do at least 40 sit-ups in 40 seconds (You have to dut your hand behind your neck and touch your knees with your elbows every rep)

3. Jump standing with both feet at least 2.56 metres

4. Do at least 27 pushups in 40 seconds (you start lying with your hands touching behind your back, then you put your hands near your shoulders and push your body up. when your arms are fully stretched, you have to take one hand off the ground and touch the other arm. Then put it back, gow down and touch again behind your back. Very complicated ;) )

5. Then run at leats 2.85km in 12 mins.

So okay for 1 and 5 I think I know how to practice. But for the other 3 I wanted to ask if there is any better training, than just doing them every day as fast as I can. For the situps and pushups I have no problem to do as many as i have to, but I just can't do them fast enough.

Well I hope any one can give me some help ;)

Do them slow to begin with and when you are able to do the required number, then gradually increase the speed.

By working slow in the beginning you can control your form.

The speed will come with continued training.

a physical test for what?

1 - work on your start and turns

2 - shit house for the lower back but simply practice them

3 - deadlifts, deadlifts and deadlifts and glute ham raises

4 - the single most ridiculous push up test in history...what is it merant to be testing exactly? anyway, again practice them but if you can't even do 27 normal push ups in 40secs you're in big trouble

5 - run

I don't think so! ^^ Because the problem is the time you have ;) Try to make 4 situps in 40 seconds, you have to be really fast! Or these special pushups... If they were normal I wouldn't have a problem, but these...
But You are right, it doesn't seem to make any sense to me too
