Creatine?
Hi guys I am 6'5 and just under 200lbs. I have very little muscle mass and want to bulk up badly. Some of friends have told me I should consider taking the supplement creatine to help me gain muscle mass. What do you guys think of creatine? Also I have never worked out and am going to begin doing so in the next week or two.
you're probably at least 2 years of training at least 3/week off creatine mate

Screw Creatine. You sound like a guy who some would call skinny fat, more or less. If you took 75% of your current weight, and said you could realistically be looking at gaining about 15-20lbs of good weight, on top of that, as a lean figure. I'd be expecting someone of that body composition to be able to start using Creatine and get reasonable results.
Unofrtunately, seeing magazine ads with snarling Juicers, claiming 50-60lbs of Bench Press off crappy Celltech, don't equate to most people who aren't even half way to a natural max.
Slight chubby newbs like you, would suffer the fate of weedy results off Creatine right now, so you'd be wasting your money.
I'm not saying never use it, but certainly hold off, as the possible power increases in comparison to retained water, might actually hinder lifting, not help, if negative weight increases, and power output increases didn't correct the shift in power to weight ratio.
Hopefully that makes sense.

i would agree in not using it.
you should just constantly hit the gym and use whey.
depending on your goals start adding new supps in after about 5 months or when you are more familiar with them
